Project Director

The Studio

BREAKFAST is a world-renowned art studio with a reputation for conceiving and producing some of the most high-tech, connected artworks in the world. BREAKFAST’s pieces can be found in various museums, lobbies, stadiums, private collections, and public spaces all around the globe.

Join a small, highly skilled cross functional team of designers and engineers to develop some of the largest mechatronic art installations in the world.

The Position

BREAKFAST specializes in crafting some of the most complex and unique artworks in the world. As such, we seek highly technical problem solvers of the highest caliber. The Project Director will be the glue holding our extremely talented project teams together, and ultimately be responsible for ensuring smooth development, production and delivery of our work.

The Project Director will have their eye on all aspects of the artwork development process from concept to delivery. Externally, they will be responsible for communication with clients and external partners including art collectors, architects, engineers, and factories. Internally, they will lead design and engineering project teams through building prototypes, managing final production in the studio, and executing complex installations around the world. They will have a strong love for both technology, art and design, as success will only be achieved if they have a natural desire to understand the inner workings of everything we build. They will need to be a sponge, soaking up every decision and conversation to ensure they can communicate the intentions and processes of the studio better than anyone else.

It’s a rare and exciting role, and the opportunities to make an impact on the world are real and significant.
