The Studio

BREAKFAST is a world-renowned art collective with a reputation for conceiving and producing some of the most high-tech, complex, and unique art sculptures in the world. Our work can be found in museums, lobbies, stadiums, and public spaces across the globe.

All of this has been achieved by a small, wildly talented group. We believe strongly in hiring extremely skillful people who can work together to achieve unprecedented creations. While we plan to expand incrementally, we aim to keep our table small and only invite the very best to join.

The Position

In this role, you'll be responsible for the project delivery of our high-end kinetic sculptures to locations throughout the world. You'll be working closely with our design and production teams internally and also own the client relationship following the sale on a new commission. This means taking the project through design/engineering and production and onto installation and closeout. You'll work with our Project Director who oversees all engineering and new design projects, and our design/engineering/production teams. Projects often come in with short deadlines so sometimes a high tempo is expected.

You must be an entrepreneurial problem solver who's got confidence, resolve, and creativity in difficult situations. Have the ability to juggle multiple projects and leadership skills to guide big projects with cross-functional teams to completion.

A large part of this role is to plan, oversee and constantly improve our internal production department. This invovles supply chain, handling revisioning of parts and inventory and oversight of our assembly technicians.

Please note that our work is very technical. Huge bonus if you have worked with hardware/software development, or other similar areas dealing with events or other 'real world' production. You will be dealing with architects, CAD drawings, general contractors, manufacturing, fabrication, software and hardware engineers, electricians etc.
