“Sustainable Locks” is a kinetic art sculpture created in a collaboration between BREAKFAST and Tiffany for their flagship location in Manhattan. This kinetic artwork visualizes the real-time use of the term “sustainable” across social media, driving the sculpture’s movements based on the current rate the term is being used.
Visually, the sculpture takes inspiration from the Tiffany Lock Bracelet. Conceptually, the piece takes inspiration from Tiffany’s major efforts over recent years that have made them a world leader in sustainably sourced materials and environmentally friendly programs and business initiatives.
