Senior Design Generalist

BREAKFAST is a world-renowned fine art studio with a reputation for conceiving and producing some of the most technologically advanced and unique art sculptures in the world. Our pieces have been purchased and commissioned by some of the most high-profile art collectors in the world, with works gracing the walls of Harvard University, Rockafeller Center, Tiffany & Co, and many more.
The Position
BREAKFAST is seeking a versatile designer who can own the wide gamut of design materials spanning our studio—from our website, marketing, and brand elements, to the print and digital materials a collector receives when they purchase one of our artworks. Depending on the skillset of the designer, there are also opportunities for video and 3D development, as well as the opportunity to bring some design thinking to certain aspects of the artworks themselves.
Responsibilities
- Own the design of the experience one has when buying and receiving one of our artworks. How can the collector prepare for the piece, install it, learn to use the basic features, etc. This would also include thinking through the packaging, printed materials, helpful videos, etc.
- Regularly update our website with new work, as well as redesign certain pages and elements.
- Look for any opportunity to improve design across any aspect of the studio. This could include the signage on our door to how we brand ourselves across social media.
Experience and Skills
- 7+ years of experience in digital and traditional design.
- Highly proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Uses key commands 90% of the time over a mouse.
- Big bonus if skills include: 3D, motion graphics, CAD, videography/photography, video editing, and/or software development.
- Excellent creative problem-solving skills
